for the last 20 years, james eric has shaped the identities of some of the world's most illustrious fashion and lifestyle magazines, applying his vision to the creation, INVENTION and REINVENTION of more than 15 titles in FOUR different countries.

his editorial career started in moscow in 1995 as the art director responsible for the launch of Elle russia, where he stayed on to manage the visual direction and creative content of the magazine for THE FIRST 4 years of phenomenal success, building the brand and its reputation to a circulation of 300 000. IN THE YEARS SINCE, as an independent creative, james eric has designed and directed fashion magazines ACROSS EUROPE, in MOSCOW, stockholm, oslo and paris, including titles LIKE vogue and harper's bazaar, GRAZIA, JALOUSE and elle, café magazine in sweden and, most recently, gq IN france.

now Based in Paris, james eric heads a design collective called Kasimir° that specializes in brand identity and custom content creation for commercial clients. his current collaborations span the continuum of print to digital, from THE CREATION OF visual identities and DIGITAL EXPERIENCES to THE ART DIRECTION AND DESIGN OF bespoke books and magazines.
